Lot's of berries!

Image
My Amish friend's berries were ready to be picked, and ....     ....as you can see, I've been quite busy in the kitchen....no time for quilting this week!    This is a short and "sweet" post! Hope you are having a great week!   Hug's, Carolyn

Happy Birthday America!

Hip, hip, hurrah, a parade! Special festivities this weekend ranging from parades, family gatherings and barbecues...... .....and fun displaying my patriotic quilts. My friend "Marge" designed this adorable "Victory" quilt for Molly-- her American school girl doll. Marge also designs other beautiful quilts and has won many awards and blue ribbons. She is a history buff on antique quilts and has a lovely collection. Visit her blog: American School Girls Quilt  and enjoy her posts!  Ready for brunch on the 4th of July! I have been quilting with 10 ladies from church every Wednesday morning. We are hand quilting this quilt--- all 50 states have been embroidered with dates, flower and bird symbols of their state.  We have so much fun visiting as we quilt...one delightful lady is 93!!!!    Enjoy this vintage picture and  have a fun and safe 4th of July!   xoxox, Carolyn
